My Story
I am Raymund Ordoyo and I’d like to share some stories about how I chose aviation as a profession. It all started in a city called Iloilo situated in one of the many islands within the Philippines. My family lived near a town where the main airport of the city is located at. I took every chance I got to view planes flying low and slow relative to the ground. Whether this is after school, before school, day or night, It would take up most of my free time throughout the day. Fast forward a few years to the year 2012, me along with my two siblings and my parents, immigrated to a country and place we now proudly call home, British Columbia, Canada. During my early teen years, my peers would be consumed with video games and hanging out with their friends while someone like myself would wait for the next episode of “Mayday: Air Disaster” to be released. I was fascinated with the intricacies and nuances that came along with the aviation industry as a whole. Ever since then, I was convinced that the aviation sector was something I could foresee myself being immersed in for a long time.
